on how your childhood can heal you
i've been going through a lot lately, my head hurts, my heart aches and my eyes are like a river. in moments like this, we tend to seek for comfort, somehow, somewhere.
these days i met my childhood friend selena, and she brought me a few gifts, which i loved, since they are my love language. one of them was this mermaid necklace from the h2o series, she thinks i look like emma, so she got me hers.
i got really excited since we used to play mermaids when we were younger, and also because i've been wanting that kind of necklace for a long time.
we decided on rewatching the series in the portuguese dub, the one from our childhood. it was magical.
that same night, after she left, i sat on the couch and ate dinner. i felt happy.
